Frequently asked questions for ORLADEYO® (berotralstat) text message reminders

I didn’t opt out but I am no longer receiving text message reminders. Why?

Try unsubscribing (reply S to STOP) and resubscribing (reply R to RESUBSCRIBE) to reset your reminders. If that doesn’t work, it may be an issue with your mobile device and/or your mobile service provider.

I no longer want to receive text messages. How do I opt out?

To opt out, simply reply S to STOP. You can resubscribe at any time by replying R to RESUBSCRIBE.

The time of day I elected to receive text message reminders no longer works for me. How do I change it?

Simply reply U to UPDATE the time of day you receive text message reminders. You will be prompted to respond with a new time in a 24-hour format followed by US time zone (ET, CT, MT, PT, AT, or HT) (eg, 19:30PT = 7:30 PM PT).

What should I do if my mobile number changes?

If you know your mobile number is changing, unsubscribe your old number and resubscribe with your new phone number. To resubscribe, simply fill out the form on the tools and resources page with your new information.

What if my phone is switched off?

We do not recommend keeping your phone turned off for an extended period of time as daily text reminders are intended to help you adhere to a daily dosing routine. However, if your phone is turned off, text messages will be queued for delivery and may be deleted after a certain period of time, depending on your mobile service provider. Contact your mobile service provider to find out how long messages are held before they are deleted.

Will I receive text message reminders when I’m traveling abroad?

Yes, but you may have to pay international fees depending on your mobile device plan. Contact your mobile service provider for information on international message and data rates.

Are there costs associated with text message reminders?

There are no direct costs associated with text message reminders. However, standard message and data rates may apply. Please contact your mobile service provider for details.

Can I respond to text message reminders to report an adverse event?

You are encouraged to report side effects of prescription drugs to BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc at 1-833-633-2279 or to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) at www.fda.gov/medwatch or 1-800-FDA-1088. If you experience a medical emergency, call your healthcare provider or dial 911.
